Brian Whelehan got four weeks for lashing out at Leo Smith of Portumna in the dying seconds of the All-Ireland club championship final.
Whelehan's action was more in frustration than anything else and I'm sure he was deadly embarrassed about losing the plot at this stage of the game.
Four weeks and a redner but I suppose it shows that the great players are only human too and that as Father Time catches up with us that it turns us all into grumpy old men and women.
